Anime based robot to help the weak
A Japanese company presented a robotic suit in Tokyo named Hal, who has the ability to facilitate the movement of the elderly and people with physical disabilities.

The new robot is manufactured by the company Cyberdyne and is equipped with multiple sensors that sense the movements of the body. When the user gets into the robot, it increases their strength and streamlines their movements.
The aim is that the robot can be used in rehabilitation programmes for people with physical disability. With it, It is not necessary to make a lot of strength to move it and can lift up to 30 pounds without any effort, using just one arm.
As for its aesthetic development, creators admitted that they were based on anime (Japanese animation). The name Hal doesn’t resemble space oddity’s computer.
Sankay, professor and engineer at the University of Tsukaba, created the first prototype of the robot in 1997. Then, the prototype became the first model of Hal in 2006. Since then, they made up 5 versions, although none had been produced on a commercial basis until now.
