“Clean” Parties in Buenos Aires

Here there are beautiful people,” says Master De Rose - guru of yoga - crossing his legs while sitting on a rubber floor and speaks as if the words were helium balloons. “Here” is the headquarters of the University of Yoga in Palermo neighborhood: a recycled house in which today (trasnoche from Saturday) is taking place a strange party. The party is tagged as “clean”, and that means no alcohol, cigarettes or drugs. “Only nice people,” insists De Rose with a gesture washing and beatification. It is one of the highest authorities of yoga in Brazil, instructed more than five thousand people worldwide and wrote twelve bestsellers that speak of love, philosophy, “emotional reprogramming” and connections with the “inner self.” When I asked about what is the meaning of beautiful people, I was expecting an answer linking beauty with the cosmos, or at least with mineral water. “Beauty is … beauty - synthesizes the Master. Physically beautiful. The slender body, sculptured, strong muscles and yoga; university students, in simple words: physically beautiful. And internally nice too. ”

These clean festivities began five years ago. The inventor organizes monthly parties in Argentina, in order to generate spaces where people can have fun without artificial additives. Although initially the events were for members of the organization, after a couple of years the festival was extended to the friends of those partners. The result is an event like this: - a bunch of people dancing and taking natural juices under a flickering and nervous white light.

De Rose gives me some apple juice and spokes about accelerated life of these times. “Alcohol, drugs, cigarettes are not healthy. We want to make it easier for young people who do not like stimulants can have their festivals. And a lot of people came incredible! As you saw: beautiful people passing all night dancing. You feel protected with your hands occupied with alcohol, but the umbrella here is in us. People pretty young. Young people who want to change the world. ”

Master De Rose (and their parties) toured the five continents. Only between Chile, Argentina and Brazil, the University brings together 50 thousand young people who nighters convinced that the fun is only a matter of mind. “I’m going to all kinds of festivities, but I prefer this. I love that there is no smoke and that this modality is not imposed: here no one smokes nor takes, but we do because we want “says Eugenia Bouciguez, 26 years, a blonde beauty. On his side, Diego Ouje -42 years, yoga-instructor agrees. “I too am going to any party, I love the holidays! - It is exciting. But this is different. Yoga practitioners are vegetarians, we do not smoke, maintain a set of habits to us that yoga works. And we bring our philosophy to these festivities. ”

But all people-is-beautiful warns Master with a globe in his hand. De Rose has a white beard and relaxed air and dark as Paulo Coelho.

He clarifies that there is no discrimination.

- What if a fat person comes, for example? I asked.

- If a person is added to a group, his body sculpture begins to change -says- De Rose. He is fat no more.
