Personally, I prefer to wear OTC socks most of the time (except when I'm at the gym or wearing summer shorts). My preference is black cotton or bamboo. I find them very comfortable and I suppose that goes back to the time when I wore a school uniform. OTC socks were a part of that uniform and I find i just prefer them now. They work for me especially in cowboy boots as I don't like to feel the boot shaft on my leg. Thanks for the information on the type of socks to wear.
