Tunick stripped 2000 people on a football field
Just as he did it in Buenos Aires and most of the major world capitals, the photographer Spencer Tunick produced again an artistic event rarely seen, by portraying nearly 2 thousand people completely naked in a stadium in Austria.

This time, the artist’s classical performance was based on football (soccer), because the event took place in the scenario that next June 29 will host the final of the Euro: Ernst Happel of Vienna, a stadium where took place many of the most remembered events in international competitions in Europe.
The volunteers, whose only pay for their effort was a photo signed by Tunick, were four hours at the orders of the photographer in the stands of the stadium and around the playground, in order to preserve the field for the initial match of the Eurocup in Austria.

The production, hosted by the Austrian agency responsible for promoting the European football contest, used about a thousand footballs, which were use for several shots by the amateur models, precisely with the intention to advertise the start of the continental tournament. His first order to the models was: take your clothes off, stay still, don’t laugh, and don’t wear sunglasses.

Since 1995, when he began to do in New York, Tunick has already made more than 75 productions of this kind, among which stands out the one he conducted in the Zocalo square in Mexico, with the presence of 18 thousand people.
