1301PE and Brain Multiples were founded in 1991 by Brian D. Butler. 1301PE (originally 1301) works with a wide group of cutting edge contemporary artists. Brain Multiples publishes affordable editions using a basic philosophy: "Ideas best expressed in multiple form."

Here you'll find more than a dozen internationally renowned artists represented through month-long exhibitions focusing on a single artist, motif or medium.
